Le musée du très petit format (the Museum of the Very Small Format) was launched on Thursday, November 4, 2025, at Cafe Le Boulevard in the Boulevard Jacqmain in Brussels. As a homage to Erik Satie on the occasion of his 100th death anniversary, we reenacted the Musée-Placard d’Erik Satie, founded in the 1980s by scholar Ornella Volta in the former home of Satie in Paris.The exhibition fitted on the bar table, featuring a rubbing (frottage) of the commemorative plaque of Satie’s room in Montmartre, a reconstruction of Man Ray’s La Poire d'Erik Satie, a copy Homage to Erik Satie by Dick Higgins, a cover of Le cadeau made by Man Ray in collaboration with Satie in 1921.
